We all know that the lighting and sound configuration of a stage can be said to be the soul of the entire stage. Without these devices, it is just a dead display stand on a beautiful stage. However, many customers do not know this aspect very well, which will always cause such mistakes. It can be summed up in the following points:

1. Excessive pursuit of variety and quantity

The understage equipment of these theaters, without exception, is equipped with a lifting platform on the main stage, a car platform on the side stage, and a car turntable on the rear stage, supplemented by a large number of micro-lifting platforms, and one or two orchestra pit lifting platforms at the front desk. The equipment on the stage is also complete in variety and in too many quantities.

2. Pursuing high standards for theatre

Some counties, county-level cities, cities and even a district have proposed that their theaters should be first-class in China, not lagging behind in the world, and be able to meet the performance needs of large-scale cultural and art groups at home and abroad. Some lighting and sound rental companies also clearly put forward the level of the Grand Theater. Except for the National Centre for the Performing Arts, other theatres are not a problem.

3. Inappropriate positioning of the theater

What kind of theater to build is a very important issue. Whether it is a professional theater or a multi-purpose theater, it must be fully demonstrated before the decision to build it. Now, many places have positioned the theaters built as operas, dance dramas, dramas, and variety shows, while take into account the meeting, and to disregard the conditions and actual situation of the region. In fact, this is a difficult subject to balance.

4. Inappropriate choice of stage form

For many theaters to be built or under construction in the near future, regardless of the actual situation such as the type of play and the size of the theater, the stage form will always use the fret-shaped stage commonly used in European grand operas.

5. Inappropriate expansion of stage size

Most of the theaters to be built or under construction determine the width of the stage opening to be 18 meters or more. Since the width of the stage opening is the basic for determining the stage structure, the inappropriate size increase of the stage opening will increase the size of the entire stage and building, resulting in waste. The size of the stage opening is closely related to factors such as the size of the theater, and cannot be freely determined.
