Feedback suppressor connection method
The main function of the feedback suppressor is to suppress the acoustic feedback howling caused by the sound of the speaker passing to the speaker, so it must be the only and only way for the speaker signal to achieve complete and effective suppression of the acoustic feedback howling.
From the current application situation. There are roughly three ways to connect the feedback suppressor.
1. It is connected in series in front of the post-compressor of the main channel equalizer of the sound reinforcement system
This is a relatively common connection method, and the connection is very easy, and the task of suppressing acoustic feedback can be accomplished with a feedback suppressor.
2. Insert into the mixer group channel
Group all mics to a certain group channel of the mixer, and insert the Feedback Suppressor (INS) into the mic group channel of the mixer. In this case, only the brief signal passes through the feedback suppressor, and the music program source signal does not pass through it. Two directly into the main channel. Therefore, the feedback suppressor will not have any effect on the music signal.
3. Insert into the mixer microphone channel
Insert the feedback suppressor (INS) into each speaker path of the mixer. Never use the method of connecting the speaker cable to the feedback suppressor and then outputting the feedback suppressor to the mixer, otherwise the feedback howling will not be suppressed.
